Best Places to Get Lucky

Getting lucky isn't just for the Irish.

Having sex in the bedroom can get a little monotonous and predictable, but it doesn’t have to be. There are so many more fun and exciting places to get lucky that aren’t the bedroom. So here are some new spots for you to get frisky with your partner(s) and some tips to maximize the experience. 

Build a fort 

Drape some sheets over chairs in your living room and cover the floor in as many pillows as your heart desires. You can create your perfect aesthetic with candles or twinkle lights within your fort. You can add to the ambiance with music, sexy lighting with candles, or fun lighting with different colored lightbulbs. The fort doesn’t just have to be for sex. You can also spend the evening getting more intimate with your partner(s) in the fort.

Take each other for a ride

With these gas prices, you may not want to put the car in drive and traverse the countryside, but that doesn’t mean you can’t ride each other in the car. Put down the seats (or take them out of your car if it has that capability) and line the space with blankets and pillows to maximize comfort. You should keep your car parked in the garage (if possible). Sex is illegal in public, so be mindful of where you choose to park your vehicle. If you are in the garage, be sure not to turn the vehicle on all the ways as the fumes can be dangerous, but instead, just turn on the battery and play music from the car.

Multitask with your work around the house

You can turn housework into sexy time with ease, especially doing the laundry. Next time you’re throwing a load in the washer, hop on top of it and enjoy some oral. The spin cycle does great at offering some additional stimulation. And if you are feeling up to it, you can re-create a common porn storyline and “get stuck” in the dryer while unloading for even more sexy fun.

Take it to the backyard

If you have a backyard, especially a backyard with a fence, then you can get sexy under the stars (weather permitting). You can put down a blanket in the grass, get frisky on the backyard furniture, or blow up an air mattress for maximum comfort. Depending on how much space you have between your neighbors, you can be as loud as you want.

Get wet and wild

Getting your freak on while in the water may not be for everyone, but you never know. You can get sexual in the shower, the tub, the hot tub, whatever body of water appeals to you most. If you choose to do it in the shower or tub, it never hurts to have some water-based lube on hand. Water may be slick, but it doesn’t work as the best lubricant for partnered activity.
