How do I add someone to my Likes list?
Its very simple - look for the Like link on the member's profile page, on the message sent by the member, or the search results page.

The most common case is the member has left the website, when that happens the member is removed from all Like lists he may be on.
Where can I see all the people on my Likes list?
Look for the "Likes" link in the navigation bar.

Profiles

What should I write about in my biography/about me section?
The key thing is to talk about you. Go into detail about what you are looking, and who you are. The more information the better!

Avoid talking about your past relationships. Nobody wants to hear about that.
Why does my profile need to be approved?
The short answer - we want to keep the scammers and spammers out. Plus, we want to make sure the profiles are appropriate for this site.
What's not permitted in a profile?
Any personal information such as phone numbers, street addresses, email accounts, websites, or other similar is not allowed at any time. This is a security measure to protect you and your fellow members.

Party or event announcements should be placed in the Parties/Event listing page and should not appear in your profile.

Business promotions or solicitations are not permitted. Lionsden is intended for personal use only.

Anything racist or bigoted is never allowed at anytime and your account may be deleted.

While this is not a complete list, all profile approvals are done at the Lionsden's support staff discretion.

Messaging

I want to send a message to someone, tell me how!
Its very easy - look for the "Message" link. Type in your message, and hit the "Send" button. Don't forget to spell check your message first by using the "Check Spelling" button. Proper grammar and correct spell is sexy!
How do I find the messages someone has sent me?
Towards the top of the screen, you'll notice the "Mail" link has changed to "NEW MAIL (nn)", where nn is the number of new messages you have received. You can read your mail, old or new, anytime by clicking on either link.
How long are messages kept here?
The website keeps messages in your Inbox or Sent folders for up to 30 days. If the message is in the Trash folder, it will be automatically deleted after 7 days.
What are the 3 folders - Inbox, Sent, and Trash?
Here's a quick run down on what each folder is folder:
  • Inbox: This is where new messages sent to you are placed.
  • Sent: For each message you sent, a copy will be placed in this folder. This is one way to figure out who you have talked with in the past, and what you said.
  • Trash: When you use the "Trash" link on a message, or move a message to the Trash folder, the message will be deleted after 7 days automatically. You may manually delete messages from here by clicking on the "Trash Now" button

Winks

What is a Wink?
A "Wink" is very quick way to let someone know you are interested in them. When you "wink" at someone using the Wink button, they will receive a one line message saying you "winked" at them. This is similar to winking or nodding at someone in public.

Searching

What is Searching?
Search is the way to find men here. Click on the Search link in the navigation bar to start looking for guys.
Why am I seeing few or no results?
Your search might be too restrictive. Try playing around with the search options to increase your matches. Here's some suggestions:
  • Increase the search distance.
  • Reduce the number of qualities you are looking for - keep an open mind.
  • Select a new location (city or zip code)

It also simply be that a smaller number of members are signed up at the moment that are in your search area. Check back later - people sign up all the time!
What is theNewlabel?
The New label is given to a profile when a member signed up for the account within the last two weeks. Say Hi and welcome them to the site.
What is theOnlinelabel?
The Online label means the member is currently visiting the site. You can send a message to say Hi and maybe strike up a conversation.
What does the Block link do on a profile?
When you "Block" a member profile, this will prevent that member from contacting you, prevent his profile from appearing in future search results, and remove any of his messages in your Inbox.
Where can I view the profiles I've blocked?
You can use the "Block" link located in the drop down menu under the Likes link.
